Coral Trout
Description
Coral Trout is one of the most delicious tasting and beautiful reef fish of Australia. A very colourful and one of the most attractive fish on the reef, they range from bright orange to bright red to almost greenish brown when caught in shallower water. They always have bright blue or red spots on them. Normally caught around the 1 to 4 kgs but can grow to over 20 kgs.
Habitat
Inshore Reefs and drop offs right to the edge of the Continental shelf, around the northern part of Australia.
